Attempt

Once I rode an elephant of the ilk of horses but slower than snails;
I traveled around the world through the mountains, roads and rails,
It took me to the sorcerous country with fairies and flower hails;
To the good and generous peoples who care and felicity prevails;
They received and fed me and my elephant without any assails;
For all I found this new magical land had nothing but sweat of travails.

For the next morning I never wished but surprised to see
Snow White, Ice Princess, Cinderella, Jasmine and Alice;
I saw many fortresses, castles, jungles and the talking bee,
I never felt so magical and happy that I wanted time to cease,
Children of all color and young ones of all animals all were surprise;
I was entertained and celebrated with the most beautiful emcee.

The world I came from was a lot different and I lied
“I live in a beautiful country where with peace all bide;
The birds sing, the cows moo, we eat and no one cried
We live happily and healthily and no one ever died”
Applaud came from all over like a million crackers fired;
My wish came true as as never before I was so deeply admired.

I didn’t miss my home, I didn’t miss my friends, I didn’t think;
I found new joy, new entertainment, new homage and I lost my stink;
I charmed and kissed all beautiful girls and I had my drink,
I roamed around the country and watched everything without a blink,
To write a poem I sat down and dipped my pen in the ink;
Syllables flew, I started likening my world and my heart was going to shrink.

Seven days later handsome, handing and happy I was a lot;
Without a trace of my pen or the ink or the poem or the thought,
My old belongings, my family, my friends and foe all I got
For I was back in my sweet old country and with everyone I fought;
The life of mermaids, magic and mystic I had long forgot
When faded the whisper or whimper or better something naught. :)

ghita's deewani ... :)

Ghita, I’ll wait for you my dear Ghita
Tonight, at our place, do come,
But when you come don’t come as you do…
Usually, empty handed, who else
Is gonna wait for you as I do?…
A whole night, just for you my Ghita?
Show me just one other girl who
Can love you as much as I do!

Rests ...

Reeks …

The world is my ashtray;
Just for relief as I bray.

Rots …

Absurd may be this link mean to you,
I am still happy as it means something to you;
Rusted, old and weak this chain may be,
But nobody can break it except you and me....

Rackets …

Night has come with desires nameless and many,
She narrates a hundred woes; I listen to her epiphany;
Night untwined, unabashed stripped her cloak,
Pearls scattered as it were; am naked still as I pick.

Some spells in words as she chants;
Alit in my eyes many a lamps,
Some spells in words, you please chant;
But before you could, night has poured out.

Riles …

Ever would I have got real busy;
Ever would if my enigma came easy,
Ever would I consider any one ally;
Never would if my psyche was queasy.

Relegates …

My meaningless prattles were inscribed on flowers
Melting that same history garden in a book of verse
Dedicated to your sweet name
To accompany you in sad lonely hours
Who knew if today,
I By fortunes foul game
Find the hard earth under me
And yourself nowhere!
Our close sitting and silent conversation,
My songs and your smiles,
All were to be left with that moment
Some few wrecks of ecstasy.

Routines …

What did happen, what was the fuss?
I don’t think I gained, but was that a loss?
I used to cry unable to take even an emotional toss,
And yet I am fine when arrows passed my heart across.

Remorses …

I never was or never will be loyal and dependable;
When I say I am going to something – it seldom gets done;
But the oratory attained filled with hopes brings the craze,
Those promises may be lies but the feelings never gone.

Retakes …

Now I see you standing
With brown leaves falling around
And snow in your hair
Now you're smiling out the window
Of that crummy hotel
Over Crossroad Bridge
Our breath comes out white clouds
Mingles and hangs in the air
Speaking strictly for me
We both could have died then and there.

Remnants …

Excited by the brisk winds, symphony of the mind emerged;
Abstaining from fame and luxury a melody it urged;
One being infinite and the other, in heart, it converged;
With songs of rejoice, the world it submerged,

Pessimistic optimism

Optimism, generally defined as favorable hopeful disposition to expect the best. Largely misunderstood, may be also by me, to the onomastic scholars' grief more or less yet this word too has become user defined. Anyways, people take sides of optimism and pessimism. From where I see this is nothing except two parallel lines.
Optimism - prepare for the worst, hope for the best, don't lose faith

Well it was astonishing for me initially as why people say about pessimism a lot, though they want the same things as me in almost the same manner. May be pessimism is not about being heart broken in the end if things don't turn up as expected. So I guess -
Pessimism - prepare your best, hope for the worst, don't have faith

Well it is a matter of strength and may be experience. If you have the energy to survive a blow then be optimistic. And if you don't then keep expecting the blow; if you are hit - it is not a surprise and if you aren't hit - you are more happy. Well it is quite twisted. May be because you had bad experiences in the past.
But Hello All the Pessimists - don't you people like to be more happy for which you say yourself pessimistic? Well some can dance and some can sing - some can apparently play with themselves. No offense dear peoples. It is the hope of happiness that makes us optimistic always and not the state we keep ourselves. Language isn't the tool to communicate with self, I guess. :D

And the reflection

Light travels at 300,000 kilometers per second. This took time.

There are ways to know a tree’s age. You cut it somewhere in the trunk and count the number of rings on the cross-sectional area. The number of rings tells the age; but unfortunately the tree dies. I am 23 years old and still alive; hopefully due to wishes of my friends and family. Thanks to all of them, I am immortal and alive at pleasure now.

Damnably I am sealed that we people learn with age. We, technically gain experience. And things aren’t always reckoned to have a purpose or meaning irrespective of the fact that those experiences, optimistically coined as causes due to mistakes mostly, have unbelievably harmonious effects. Not on so much of sarcastic note, experiences never go wrong when learned properly. But to heck with it. To err is human or rather to human is to err. And the recursive compulsive obsessive disorder goes on in a vicious cycle.

Denying on face is rude. So we just say – No but thanks. It becomes pretty clear that you are needed to get lost when you aren’t buzzed in. But we people fail to understand that the dupe is clarified now.

Apparently there is always a difference between meaning and saying. And we say friends are for ever. Anyways, bad things do happen and everything can’t be recaptured. Agreed. And it is not fair to load on all the responsibilities on one side; it takes two hands to clap. But recapturing the moments isn’t always the purpose. If we fail to learn that, then why should we shoo away people? We all know the reason. Whatever may be the case we are doomed to be hypocrites – it is a game of Language I guess.

Anyways, we accept everything and try to move on except that I deliberately excluded the word love which always plays the spoilsport being the sticky bomb.

I always had the desire of attention.

Doom's Day

Every roar gets disgruntled at the dawn. Predator gets prey or not - who cares. Who lives and who dies - who cares; the universe doesn't. Every book writer dies and doesn't live for eternity - merely a decade or a century. Every movie is forgotten due to budding artists and new rattling masterpieces. Intellectuals are now questioning the existence of time - till now measuring time was important to make self remember to remember and forget - at least till today. Whether its change or knowledge - who knows? ; it's better as knowledge. India's GDP growth rate was 9.6 in 2007 and TATA lunched NANO. Girls are females now with curvaceous bodies and sonsy attitude. I don't have enough time to recover from effect of nonexistent time to resettle my enlightened knowledge of women being of same species as us. Men are just like this - mean and meaner. What matters is Cost to Company and early breakfast.

DOOM's DAY
DOOM's DAY
DOOM's DAY

The following isn't based on a true story - it is a true story.

There was a girl working at some window shop. She was a beautiful girl partially aware of her berserk, femme fatale normal human powers. She was used to stares and drooling. She worked at the shop everyday from Monday to Saturday from 2 hours before noon to 4-5 hours post noon. She undoubtedly was a part of Customer Appeal of that shop. The glasses of the shop were clean enough to allow Adrenalined people to watch her - piece by piece, bit by bit.

One fine morning a guy of about the same age (or at least seemed) as of the girl put those Adrenalins. He stood there watching at the damsel, the parrot in the cage, the golden fish in the tank, the Alice in wonderland. He didn't move his eyes as if he found something. His eyes stopped at the first bit - her eyes. It was summer. Sun was highest in the sky and it was hot. The girl noticed him. After sometimes the girl again noticed him. His eyes were disrobing her. It was summer. Sun was highest in the sky and it was hot. He probably felt something and the girl felt winter. After sometimes she noticed him again outside without a change. She started to feel the need of more clothes to hid her textures or rather she just felt cold. After an hour or so the guy left.

The next day history repeated. Then the next day history was repeated. Quests had been starting to build up from the female's frontier. Now she searched for him, waited from him and also smiled at him. What she got was even more cold than ever - A Look, the same old and firm look.

This business went on for 21 days.

On not so much of a good day the girl's friend went to the shop just for the hell of it. She heard everything and noticed something. As expected in real world about the meaner females the guy turned out to be a total jerk in their tête-à-tête. She heard that the guy has been disturbing her from time to time - everyday staring and thereby abusing. She dragged her friend by her arms to outside towards the guy.

The guy didn't move - neither himself nor his eyes.

- "Hello! What do you want? Why are you disturbing her? Have you no shame? Don't you have any work that you come up everyday here? !@@@ &^#*#(#*(@(. (*#()&&@!@&*!!@^@. %#&*!@*(&#!*(#!*#(#(*!(#&(!&(#&!(#&!##!*##$%!#$@~^~@&#!_*)($(_$$*$. &@&$&&((*&^%^#$!~$%^&*(*. &^%$##&*()_+(^^%$#!~#&*( . "

- "I just wanted to see."

History ended. One person cried in agony.

After a few months when the vulnerable girl wasn't working anymore at the window shop went there. She stood outside the shop at the same spot and looked inside. She stood there for 30 - 40 minutes and returned with a smile on her face.

Movies that have influenced me to heaven and to hell and to the mountain between the two !!!

Today is 19th November and yesterday was 18th November ... I appeared Common Admission Test and got to know about my friend Jean Paul' Sartre a little more. Those Indians who have appeared for CAT, 2007 must have seen the Passage for reading comprehension. Jean Paul' Sartre was an existential but then went for communism.

Wow !!! ... I enjoyed it. Anyways today I am preparing for my exam tomorrow "Modernization and Creative Communication" and one of the topics of the course is "GODOT". "Waiting for Godot" a play written by Samuel Beckett and the play was a sensational scintillator drama and satire in 1948. Anyways, as I get to know here about Samuel Bracket who left Communism to, let be, dedicated to the idea of Existentialism I am quite fascinated by just the idea of supposed comprehending it in some few hours so that I can write an essay about it tomorrow.

Now, who among the above am I? These few hours that I will spend tonight and tomorrow will determine that.

Movies, non the less than books are quite influencing once we become a little pseudo-postmodern. What the heck !!
